Dye, Print, Breakdown and Leatherwork

Breakdown techniques to imitate gunshot, bloodstaining, burn damage and mud. Stains created with dye-na-flow and puff binder. Damage created using grater, chisel, heat gun and scissors.

Calico men's shirt, broken down and distressed with range of tools and dye-na-flow paints to create muddied waterlogged look.

Bracers made from wired buckram base, covered in soft leather and decorated with vegetable tanned leather trims. Product of industry workshop with leatherworker and milliner Enda Kenny.

The first screenprint uses brown universal binder, and the second uses white opaque binder to create the overprint.

Teal duchesse satin, printed with imitation-damask pattern for Much Ado About Nothing (designed by Stefanie Genda). Printed in brown suede binder, and heat activated to create three-dimensional texture.
